A Kriya ad is given for the purpose of holding a kriya/ shraddh for the deceased as a group. It is a ceremony performed in honour of a dead ancestor. The rite is both a social and a religious responsibility enjoined on all-male Hindus (with the exception of some sannyasis, or ascetics).

A scanned copy of the Death Certificate or Doctor's Certificate or Cremation Document is required as a supporting document to place the ad.
